Flowering trees in our neighborhood

The winter in Boston is long and dreary. By the time March comes around, it feels like the cold will never end. But suddenly in April everything starts blooming. The riot of colors that fills the neighborhood, so long yearned for, always feels unexpected when it finally comes: a gift from the gods. Here are a few pictures taken within a few miles of our house.
