In the fall of 2009 our belgo-american friends Claude and Susan suggested that we could share a house with them in Hanalei, on the North coast of Kaua'i. They go to Hawai'i every other year and know it well, while we have only been to Maui a couple of times, and never to Kaua'i. Discovering Kaua'i with some "old-timers" sounded like a good idea, and here are some of my memories.
