Patsy's birthday lunch

Patsy wanted a birthday lunch at a small restaurant she knew in Amalfi. So we made the half-hour trip along the windy road to that charming town. The main attraction is the impressive cathedral, which overlooks a square with a rather jolly fountain.

But we did not come for that: we came for the food!

The restaurant is a tiny shack, basically a covered terrace, squeezed between the road and the sea, which crashes on the cliff about 20 meters below. Michael let the owner decide the menu and, while waiting for the food, we all took pictures of the birthday girl. Here is a funny one of her with me.

The menu:

Did I forget something? If I did, blame it on the delicious local wine, which flowed profusely!
