When everybody was there we walked over to the neighbor's place where a nice spread of local specialties was awaiting us. The wine flowed freely. There was serious drinking, serious chatting and serious eating. The raw ham was particularly good. The wines were Malbecs from various regions, from Patagonia to Salta in the North, and Torrontes, an interesting white, very fragrant of Moscatel, but quite dry.
At the end of the tasting we had another surprise treat: a tango demonstration by a pair of professional dancers. Joan and I were so impressed that we hired them for a private lesson the next day!
After all that, a little rest was welcome.
